Psychoanalysis is one of the few places left in the world where we can speak freely. Speaking freely to an accepting and skilled analyst can often result in hearing and discovering things about ourselves which were previously unaware to us. In addition, the relationship between the analyst and patient allows for the possibility of a new relationship experience.

Group Therapy can be a powerful addition to individual therapy. Whereas individual work focuses on the intrapsychic, the psyche of the individual, group work focuses on the interpersonal and our relationships with others. Group therapy is a place were we can put our thoughts and feelings into words and study the impact we have on others and how others impact us.

A comprehensive and thoughtful psychological evaluation can help answer many questions about how you or your child is currently functioning. For example, often what looks like ADHD may actually be slow processing speed, anxiety, or something else entirely. Most often the diagnostic picture is much more complex and nuanced than is usually captured by rating scales and self-reports. A thorough diagnostic evaluation is essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planing.
